Terms
Terms of Service.
Last updated 15 August 2026
Acceptance
These terms are between you and HemanthVA Ventures Ltd., the operator of Authex. By creating an account or using Authex, you agree to them. If you use Authex for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
The service
Authex checks public domain settings, shows supported information from connected email platforms and keeps records that can be used as compliance evidence. Where a customer deliberately delegates a supported control and approves the required permissions, Authex may also maintain that control. Features and limits may change as the service develops. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes that affect a paid plan.
Your account and authority
You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity under your account. You may add or manage only organisations, domains and email platforms that you own or are authorised to administer. Tell security@authexlabs.com promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Public domain checks
The domain scanner reports publicly observable configuration at the time of the request. Results may be incomplete because of DNS propagation, unavailable endpoints, undiscoverable DKIM selectors or temporary network conditions. Do not automate scans in a way that impairs the service or targets systems in which you have no legitimate interest.
Connected services
If you connect an email platform or another supported application, you authorise Authex to use the access shown during that connection. You are responsible for the services you connect and may remove their access from the relevant settings. A third-party service continues to operate under its own terms and privacy practices.
Acceptable use
Do not use Authex to disrupt systems, evade access controls, collect personal information unlawfully, facilitate fraud or phishing, misrepresent results, reverse engineer the service or bypass limits.
Fees and cancellation
Paid plans are billed at the price and interval shown at checkout or in an applicable order. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You may cancel a subscription, and paid access will normally continue until the end of the current billing period. Contracted services may include different terms in their order.
Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you provide. You allow Authex to process that data only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service, meet legal obligations and support your account. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
No certification
Scores, mappings and evidence do not certify compliance, replace professional advice or determine an organisation’s complete regulatory scope. Framework names are used for mapping reference; no endorsement is implied.
Availability and warranties
Authex is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free results or a particular commercial or security outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid to Authex in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend access needed to protect the service, other customers or the public, or when these terms are materially breached. You may stop using Authex at any time. Before ending a service that maintains a domain control, you are responsible for replacing any configuration on which your mail depends. An applicable order may provide additional transition terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. The courts of Scotland will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that applicable consumer law gives you.
