Terms of Service.

Last Updated: May 15, 2026

Acceptance

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Authex email security platform (the “Service”). The Service is provided by HemanthVA Ventures LTD, a Scottish limited company registered in Glasgow (“Authex,” “we,” “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your Account

You must be at least 16 to use the Service. Keep your login credentials secure, provide accurate information, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for everything done under your account. We may refuse or close accounts where information is inaccurate or use of the Service is abusive.

Use of the Service

We grant you a limited right to use the Service for your business. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or to abuse, harass, or attack a domain you do not own.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or build a competing product from the Service.
  • Scrape or automate access beyond what our API terms allow.
  • Interfere with the Service or attempt to access systems or accounts that are not yours.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

We offer a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans bill in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Free plans may be changed or discontinued at any time. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing period.

Annual plans can be refunded pro-rata within 14 days of first purchase. Monthly plans are non-refundable. Refund requests: billing@authexlabs.com.

Fees are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

DNS and Domain Responsibility

The Service guides you through changes to email authentication records in your DNS. Important:

  • You own the changes. You are responsible for any DNS changes you make, whether directly or through the Service.
  • Recommendations are advisory. Authex analyses your DNS and email-authentication data and suggests changes. We do not guarantee any specific outcome or that all email threats will be prevented.
  • You must control the domain. You confirm you own or are authorised to manage each domain you add.
  • DNS changes can affect deliverability. You accept this risk.

Intellectual Property

Authex and its licensors own the Service, including all software, designs, and content. You own your account data and the domains and DNS records you bring. You grant us a limited licence to use that data to operate and improve the Service, including in anonymised, aggregated form.

If you share feedback or suggestions, we may use them in the Service without obligation to you.

Data Protection

We aim to give advance notice of planned maintenance and may perform emergency maintenance without notice for security or critical issues. The Service is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees beyond what is set out here.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

We are not liable for damage resulting from DNS changes, email-delivery failures, or security incidents affecting your domain, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Authex against claims arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your breach of law, or DNS changes you make to domains under your control.

Termination

You may cancel at any time from account settings or by emailing support@authexlabs.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, overdue payment beyond 15 days, security risk, or where required by law. We will give reasonable notice where practical.

On termination, your data is available for export for 30 days, after which it may be deleted. Sections on intellectual property, liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. The courts of Glasgow have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in this clause limits statutory rights that cannot be excluded for consumers in the UK or EEA.
